Company Profile

In 2001 mbrTechnofood sas was created by Dr Marco Barro Raffel and his son Paolo, as the result of a long industrial experience which began in the early seventies.

This industrial activity started as dietetic food "Contract Manufacturer" for large distribution companies, such as Roche Products, Star-Mellin, Piada, Gazzoni, Quaker Oats, Chiari & Forti and others. In later years the industrial activity continued with the production of dehydrated first courses (pastas, rices, soups, lasagne, tortellini), sauce mixes, dessert mixes, drink mixer. All of these products have been manufactured as " private labels " for large distribution companies in Italy and abroad.
The core business of mbrTechnofood today is the development of "private labels" of dehydrated food for customers.  At present mbrTechnofood is supplying important scandinavian distribution companies through distributors in Sweden, Danmark, Finiand. In May 2004 mbrTechnofood received quality Certification conform to BRC and IFS Standards. Last Certificates expire on 2013.

Since 1964, Dr Marco Barro Raffel has been a member of the American Institute of Food Technologists.
